Role Summary

The Client Solutions Director will identify and develop new client business within a region or area, and cultivate relationships with existing clients. This position will partner with Marketing on proposals and community relations activities to implement the client solutions goals. In addition, this position will develop and implement strategic client solutions plans for geographic and vertical market sectors, and lead partnerships that support achieving sales goals and objectives. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

CLIENT SOLUTIONS FAMILY - CORE

  • Performs active client solutions, marketing and public relations activities in support of client solutions goals.
  • Researches, qualifies and prioritizes potential customers.
  • Coordinates and oversees maintenance of records and reports concerning client contacts and scheduled client solutions activities.
  • Prepares, presents and executes client solutions action plans for specific targets. 
  • Helps develop new business, sales and client relations for defined markets.
  • Helps with the development of proposals, presentations and other client communications.
  • Provides planning help to prospective and current clients prior to contract execution.
  • Serves as a company representative on civic, business, charitable and professional organizations.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

CLIENT SOLUTIONS DIRECTOR

In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Creates and implements strategic marketing plans for assigned areas.
  • Prepares and presents monthly marketing reports to designated executives.
  • Manages the development of proposals, presentations and other client communications.
  • Partners with operations teams to plan, create presentations, and execute capture plans on pursuits or to business partners and community organizations.
  • Creates strategic relationships and partnerships with internal and external groups to position JE Dunn and leverage existing and new services.
  • Provides leadership to operations team to prepare and execute successful interviews.
  • Leads the client relationship development, including ownership of client relationship in partnership with other key team members.
  • Prepares interview teams with key message points, supporting visual documents, and content delivery strategies.
  • Always presents a positive disposition and maintains constructive interpersonal relationships when under stress.
  • Researches competitors’ value propositions by gathering, analyzing, and acting on market intelligence.
  • Challenges conventional thinking, solves problems, and develops creative solutions to assist clients fulfill their mission.
  • Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Understands JE Dunn’s policy of non-discrimination and ensures positive proactive implementation throughout the organization.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction science, marketing, management or related field (Preferred).
  • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

  • 10+ years marketing or business development or related experience (Preferred).
  • 5+ years people management experience (Preferred).

Working Environment

  • Valid and unrestricted drivers license required
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • May require periods of travel

Base compensation for the Client Solutions Director role in Colorado is between $170,000 and $225,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive a target bonus based on both individual and company performance.
