Job Summary:

The IT Campus Intern will primarily assist with imaging hardware, answering hotline calls and completing smaller projects as assigned. This entry level position is ideal for a recent or soon-to-be college graduate with strong communication skills and a solid foundation of technology experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment, and be eager to learn and grow through hands on experience with the latest technologies, IT solutions, and senior IT staff. Reporting to the End User Support Manager, the IT Support Specialist will serve as a key component of a small but mighty team.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure and ship intern hardware for upcoming intern season 

  • Assist with emergency hotline calls, conference room issues as needed 

  • Perform hardware upgrades as assigned by Support Technicians 

  • Own general IT help desk tickets and see them through to resolution or escalation 

  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical end users 

  • Document and maintain up to date policies and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively 

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

IT Systems / Applications May Include:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 

  • Microsoft O365 

  • MacOS 

  • Computer Peripherals; Printers, etc. 

  • iOS, and Android mobile platforms 

  • Remote Desktop Services / Citrix XenApp 

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 

  • Rising Junior or Senior preferred
