Role Summary

The CyberPhysical Security Manager leads enterprise physical security and industrial system hardening for JE Dunn. This role manages corporate security, advises on client project security design, and integrates physical security with IT/OT cybersecurity controls, requiring strong technical expertise in security systems, effective management and communication skills, and the ability to deliver practical solutions that support both security and business needs. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

  • Designs and manages CyberPhysical security systems for corporate and project sites, focusing on scalability, and maintainability. Produces specifications for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and ICS/OT/IoT devices.
  • Advises project teams, clients and other groups on CyberPhysical security topics, including systems, processes and implementation. Continues collaboration throughout the project lifecycle on relevant projects
  • Designs security systems and architecture by translating frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82 and others into technical requirements and procedures. Ensures systems meet critical standards for federal credentialing
  • Performs CyberPhysical security risk assessments in alignment with established information security risk assessment practices to ensure a comprehensive approach to organizational protection
  • Collaborates to enhance the Security Operations Center and monitoring functions, working with SOC, Crisis and Emergency Response teams to develop and integrate SPS and CyberPhysical security systems
  • Partners with external teams to lead the integration of physical security with IT and OT technologies. Ensures that systems and procedures for smart building technologies are managed in line with IT security policies
  • Collaborates with IT Security leadership to develop CyberPhysical security strategy in line with broader functional and departmental goals and objectives
  • Manages physical security systems across all corporate locations, building collaborative partnerships with security and office management staff and leading cross-functional teams to ensure a secure environment
  • Creates and Updates CyberPhysical security programs through processes, standards, playbooks and new solutions to emerging threats. Ensures written documentation and checklists are established and followed by relevant staff
  • Oversees vendor performance through detailed scopes of work, selecting and evaluating vendors to new and established processes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, architecture, information systems or relevant field (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in designing, implementing and/or managing physical security systems and programs (Required)

Working Environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • May require periods of overnight travel
  • Normal office environment
