Role Summary
The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for development fact-based, data-driven insights and recommendations to guide better decision-making. The manager will analyze insights around a strategy supported by measurable metrics and business intelligence using multiple statistical and analytical methods, AI tools, data processing, and programming skills to develop models and analyses that support strategic initiatives across the organization. Additionally, this position will be responsible for identifying application improvements and establishing metrics for measurement and or may champion end-to-end projects, from opportunity identification to delivering insights to leadership and stakeholders.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
DATA ANALYTICS MANAGEMENT FAMILY – CORE
- Develops and implements data analytics strategies for assigned functions to improve operational performance
- Leads the design and development of analytical models and reports for assigned functions
- Collaborates with leadership to define analytics goals and objectives
- Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytics projects
- Stays updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and contributes to broader organizational data management strategies
- Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements relevant to data analytics in assigned function including recommendations for performance and greater scalability
- Partners with cross functional teams to champion data analytics practices in relevant departments
- Develops comprehensive project plans for key initiatives, identifying requisite data sets, necessary analyses, and optimal methodologies to implement initiatives
- Correlates complex analytical findings and delivers clear, concise presentations to a diverse audience, including peers, leadership, and external partners
- Collaborates with Data Owners to make recommendations and improve data flow
- Creates, manages, and optimizes dashboards and reports to provide visual insights and track key performance indicators
- Continuously evaluates and improves existing analytics processes, tools, and methodologies
- Designs and manages strategies focused on the management of a variety of data elements that might include customer information, financial, operational, and employee data to drive department and business outcomes
- Collaborates with internal teams to create efficient reporting, data transparency and to ensure alignment with data governance models
- Protects the privacy and security of the data utilized in analysis, adhering to and training personnel on security protocols

- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships and identifying gaps in logic

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science or related field (Required)
- Master’s degree (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years data analysis experience (Required)
- 2+ years people management experience (Preferred)
Working Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- May require periods of travel
- Normal office environment

- Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Reaching above Shoulder
