Role Summary

The Finance Manager will manage forecasting and budgeting for the equipment divisions. This position will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting analysis, project accounting, and monitoring and managing overdue accounts and receivables. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions within defined limits of authority and consults supervisor on other decisions.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

FINANCE MANAGEMENT FAMILY - CORE

Prepares budgets and forecasts and performs variance analysis and other management analysis.
Supports the business management of project accounting by participating in and reviewing cost reports, discussing and clarifying forecasts, and answering questions from business unit leaders.
Provides appropriate costing support to ensure the business is accounted for per historic norms.
Monitors and manages past due receivables.
Looks for ways to increase operational efficiency and company profits through cost savings, profit enhancements, etc. Communicates findings to business leaders.
Provides analysis of utilization of company equipment.

Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate
Proficiency in Excel – Advanced

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Required)
In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
