Role Summary

The HR Operations Coordinator will provide routine clerical/administrative support to our HR Shared Services area of Human Resources.  This position will be responsible for processing onboarding, recording employee data, responding to routine questions, maintain HR compliance and gathering and filing or processing information.  All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core


  • Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities.
  • Records data for each employee and/or applicant such as: address, pay, performance, location, benefits, etc.
  • Gathers, organizes, and files personnel records. 
  • Creates, maintains and updates various databases for tracking and reporting purposes. 
  • Responds to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures. 
  • Develop and maintain process documentation. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner against established deadline
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Intermediate
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers  
  • Knowledge and understanding of process workflow and visualized processes
  • Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Listening skills 
  • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail – Intermediate 
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs – Intermediate 
  • Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources 
  • Knowledge of HR processes for their assigned areas 
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally 
  • Communication skills, verbal and written 


  • High School/GED or equivalent (Required) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (Preferred) 
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered 


  • 0 -2 years Human Resources experience (Required)

Working Environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Typically travel is not required
  • Normal office environment
  • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
  • Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling
