Role Summary
The Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for the Applications Management of Tier 1 applications. This position ensures each application is adopted, understood, and delivers measurable business value across the organization. This position partners with project stakeholders, functional leaders, and software vendors to support stable adoption, roadmap alignment, patch impact assessments, and business readiness for upgrades. This position also focuses on business ownership, stakeholder engagement, training and communication, metrics reporting, and vendor partnership. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
APPLICATIONS ANALYSIS FAMILY – CORE
- Supports the business lead for one or more Tier 1 applications, ensuring the software is used consistently and effectively across the organization
- Maintains a working understanding of business processes, workflows, and requirements supported by the application
- Supports roadmap discussions and functionality decisions in alignment with company goals
- Executes adoption strategies including communications, role‑based training, job aids, “What’s New” updates
- Partners with project teams integrate application best practices into project startup, execution, and closeout activities
- Identifies adoption barriers and escalate issues as appropriate
- Solicits and applies feedback to improve service quality and user experience
- Operates as a liaison with assigned third‑party vendors to coordinate support, track issues, and ensure timely resolution in alignment with business needs
- Participates in enhancement discussions and communicates release notes and updates in business-friendly language
- Tracks KPIs such as adoption, usage workflow adherence, and user satisfaction
- Builds dashboards and report metrics regularly to functional leaders
- Documents analysis results, workflows, and obtain stakeholder sign-off
- Supports application governance groups by preparing documentation and issue tracking logs
- Maintains process documentation and role clarity
- Ensures alignment with regulatory, audit, and data quality standards

In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Serves as the business lead for one or more Tier 1 applications, ensuring the software is used consistently and effectively across the organization
- Develops and executes adoption strategies including communications, role‑based training, job aids, “What’s New” updates, and learning paths
- Leads requirements gathering and solution design sessions
- Performs advanced configuration, integration, and workflow design
- Manages mid to large sized application projects
- Conducts impact analysis for system changes
- Serves as primary escalation point for complex issues
- Partners with assigned third‑party vendors to manage day‑to‑day interactions, monitor issue resolution, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
- Identifies opportunities for automation and process improvement
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Communication skills, verbal and written - Intermediate
- Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics – Intermediate

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years application management, product ownership, business process analysis, or similar discipline experience (Required)
- Experience supporting enterprise software, preferably within construction or project‑based industries.
Working Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Normal office environment
- May require periods of overnight travel
- Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
- Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Reaching above Shoulder
