Role Summary
The Senior Belonging & Marketplace Engagement Specialist will support leadership and Belonging & Marketplace Engagement (BeME) Management in executing BeME strategies for the region and promoting community engagement. This position will develop programs, training, and community outreach initiatives and provide support for initiatives relating to the overall BeME strategy. This position plays an integral role representing JE Dunn in the community, identifying leads, opportunities for partnerships, and supporting women and minority contractors in the community. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
BELONGING & MARKETPLACE ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST FAMILY – CORE
- Responsible for coordinating BeME efforts related to internal and external initiatives in support of client needs, broader regional efforts or targeted key stakeholders. This may include planning and coordination duties on assigned projects or with client groups.
- Develops and maintains close working relationships with small and emerging businesses and community organizations in order to source for projects and opportunities.
- Maintains database of businesses and organizations for community outreach purposes from across local market including small and emerging businesses
- Schedules meetings and prepares agendas and/or content for BeME for a variety of meetings and events.
- Prepares correspondence and reports including preparation of diversity-related statistical information for firm and region-wide monitoring reports, RFPs and other requests, as needed by the client, project team or stakeholders.
- Coordinates with other departments, community groups and professional organizations on benchmarking initiatives including assessments, surveys, competitive and marketplace research on inclusion trends, metrics and reporting.
- Plans for all logistical components for internal and external events supporting this work.
- Collaborates with key partners and stakeholders, including, but not limited to: Corporate Communications, HRBPs, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting in support of enhancing BeME workplace initiatives as needed and in partnership with Sr. BeME Manager
Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core
SENIOR BELONGING & MARKETPLACE ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST
In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:
- In collaboration with BeME management, identifies and tracks small and emerging contractors, vendors, and suppliers that have the capacity to support company goals and educates them on the tools and requirements necessary to qualify them for work with JE Dunn.
- Plans and executes internal and external diversity outreach efforts including community events, webinars, social media outreach, conferences, and other initiatives that supports BeME efforts for the region.
- Engages with BeME Management to organize and administer the regional Marketplace Contractor Development Program (MCD) in partnership with Client and only as needed
- Supports partnerships and programs with small and emerging businesses, to include mentorship programs and contractor’s development programs.
- Executes BeME communications activities in collaboration with the internal Communications and Marketing team, including updating and enhancing content on BeME intranet and internet sites.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Customer Relations, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
- In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered
Experience
- 5+ years diversity and inclusion experience (Preferred)
- 3+ years community outreach/small business experience (Preferred)
Working Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- May require periods of overnight travel
- Ability to attend events in the evenings as needed
