Role Summary

The Senior HR Operations & IS Analyst will play a vital role executing our HR technology capabilities.  They will provide HRIS support and operate as a point of contact to the HR team while partnering with IT to assist with the development, implementation and on-going administration of the HRIS functionality and utilization. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

  • Autonomy & Decision-Making:  Makes decisions on routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

 HRIS ANALYST FAMILY - CORE

  • Assist in the execution of the long-term HRIS Strategy and support of key HR systems functionality.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, be a creative self-starter and exhibit a high level of energy, enthusiasm, strong organizational skills
  • Assist in managing relationships with service providers and ensures the development and proper training and documentation for system use and maintenance.
  • Assists in establishing data tables, structures, files, interface requirements and data integrity protocols for ongoing administration
  • Demonstrated experience with reporting tools and analytics.
  • Data Audits; multiple
  • Involved in supporting, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
  • Requires the ability to influence others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relations
  • Assist Sr. HRIS Analyst and business team members as needed
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the supporting business processes that align with HR system solutions
  • Document business and technical requirements
  • Partner with customers to examine issues or concerns within the HRIS system
  • Understand dependencies of all relevant systems that impact HR data
  • Document processes, procedures, or new approaches
  • Maintain and cultivate relations with key customer contacts
  • Manage documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall system performance.
  • Maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assists in development of standard reports for customers in HR and other departments.
  • Supports data integrity protocols between HR, Finance and other internal departments

In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently, resolve project issues, meet deadlines and escalate to senior management
  • Oversee the specification, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use
  • Document implementation plans, processes and procedures
  • Strong level knowledge of system architectures and software development methodologies
  • Leverage technology to be more efficient, accurate and customer-oriented through collaborative efforts with other technical resources

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered

 

Experience

  • 2+ years of HRIS experience including employee system oversight, development and project management.
  • Experience with large ERP (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SumTotal, Success Factors, etc.)
