Role Summary

The Talent Management Program Manager is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, communication and administration of a variety of JE Dunn’s talent management programs, covering a national workforce of approximately 4,500 employees. This position reports to the VP & Head of Talent Management.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

  • Responsible for the leading the planning, execution and administration of talent management systems, processes, and programs such as performance management, succession planning, talent review, employee engagement, and recognition
  • Maintains a pulse on best practices and trends; Drives continuous improvement using a combination of process discipline, creativity, and innovation to enhance the employee and manager journey
  • Oversees talent review and succession processes that identify business opportunities/challenges and ensure the company is building capabilities for the future
  • Works with a variety of external partners and internal stakeholders - HR Business Partners, HR Shared Solutions, the People Lead Team, Regional executives and the Executive Leadership Team - to provide talent management process and systems coordination, programs and applications
  • Consults with clients regarding the best way to create and implement a solution or display information through all consulting phases (analysis, design and implementation); Builds and delivers informational presentations and training regarding processes and programs
  • Works across the People team to jointly organize and manage talent programs and events as needed; periodically provides some coaching and development planning support to leaders and intact teams participating in various assessment methods
  • Interfaces with Executive Committee members as needed on execution of talent reviews, assessments and coaching, and other talent management/talent review/succession activities
  • Prepare and present talent updates for relevant leadership, board and oversight groups.
  • Identifies weak or non-existent processes, analyzes organizational impact and takes action to build or strengthen them as needed.
  • Tracks, analyzes and provides reports to measure the effectiveness of performance and talent strategies.; Links measurement tools to strategic objectives and uses them to assess progress against goals.
  • Manages large-scale change management in areas of performance management, talent review, succession planning, employee engagement, recognition, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (Required)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • 5+ years human resources experience (Required)
  • Relevant experience leading Performance Management, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement and Recognition programs (Preferred)
  • Proficiency with SuccessFactors or similar HR systems (Preferred)
