Role Summary

The Travel and Relocation Program Manager is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, communication, and administration of a variety of JE Dunn’s Travel and Relocation programs, covering a national workforce of approximately 3,500 employees. This position reports to the HRIS & HR Operations Director.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

  • Responsible for the leading the planning, execution and administration of travel and relocation management systems, vendors, and processes.
  • Maintains a pulse on best practices and trends; Drives continuous improvement using a combination of process discipline, creativity, and innovation to enhance the employee and manager journey.
  • Oversees travel and relocation processes that identify business opportunities/challenges and ensure the company is building capabilities for the future.
  • Works with a variety of external partners and internal stakeholders - HR Business Partners, HR Shared Solutions, the People Lead Team, Regional executives, and the Executive Leadership Team - to provide travel and relocation process and systems coordination, programs and applications.
  • Consults with clients regarding the best way to create and implement a solution or display information through all consulting phases (analysis, design, and implementation); Builds and delivers informational presentations and training regarding processes and programs.
  • Works across the People team to jointly organize and manage travel and relocation programs and events as needed; periodically provides coaching and planning support to leaders and teams related to travel and/or relocation needs.
  • Interfaces with Executive Committee members as needed on execution of travel per diem, relocation, and mobility activities.
  • Prepare and present travel and relocation updates for relevant leadership, board, and oversight groups.
  • Identifies weak or non-existent processes, analyzes organizational impact and takes action to build or strengthen them as needed.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and provides reports to measure the effectiveness of travel and relocation strategies.; Links measurement tools to strategic objectives and uses them to assess progress against goals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

  • Manages large-scale change management in areas of travel, relocation, etc.
  • Functions as primary point of contact and builds ongoing relationships with third part relocation providers. Works directly with third party providers to administer relocation programs, create recommendations for relocation packages and functions as subject matter expert on moving solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Required)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • 5+ years travel and/or relocation management experience (Required)
  • Relevant experience leading Travel Per Diem, Relocation and Mobility programs (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in external vendor platform management, dashboard and reporting tools, or similar HR systems (Preferred)
